A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to nonexistent addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can receive email messages from pals or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be delivered to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox easily if you have a cloud website hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet astonishingly simple to work with, and it will permit you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a couple of clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each of them you will see a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking it again will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will notify you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this feature activated or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.
