What is Ask Three then Me?
One of the things CoderDojo does, apart from teach coding, is to build a environment where the Ninjas learn ways to find the answers to their own problems
The ‘Ask Three’ part, refers to;
- Try to work out the issue yourself using the knowledge you’ve already gained (What’s worked before?)
- Ask another Ninja for their take on the issue. Can they offer any ideas to solve the problem?
- Ask Professor Google. It might seem like a cop-out, but not everything on the web is helpful! By using a search engine, they learn how to research ideas and discover what doesn’t work as well as what does 🙂
If they can’t find a working solution after they’ve ‘Asked three’, the final step is to ask a Mentor to help.
